How To Get The Best Rhinoplasty Results

Results may not look as anticipated for several weeks, and there may be scarring that was not anticipated. In fact, in many cases, it can take up to one full year before the desired appearance is actually refined.

The best results are achieved when individuals follow their surgeons recommendations precisely, both before and after the surgery. It is important to realize that, while rhinoplasty is a permanent procedure, the bodys responses of tissue and cartilage repair may alter the appearance of the new nose over time. Some people may need to have follow-up surgery years later.

Rhinoplasty is a personal decision, and may be chosen based on appearances or breathing impairment. In either case, results are almost always satisfactory, providing a boost in the individuals self-esteem and self-confidence, not to mention health when impaired breathing is the reason for the surgery.
